Your first session
When you come for your first session, we will address your concerns and reasons for seeking therapy. You will be asked a lot of questions about your background and the situations you are facing now. We will discuss the best type of treatment for you, individual, family, couples or clinical hypnosis. Together, we will establish goals for treatment and discuss approximate length and frequency of treatment.
HOW WE FOSTER HEALING
We believe that every individual has it within themselves to overcome the majority of their struggles. They just need some help. Our aim as your therapist is to foster this healing process. We will not tell you what you must do, but we will assist you in finding the solution for yourself. As the old saying goes, “You can’t see the forest through the trees,” we will help you to see the forest.
Through a variety of different methods including traditional “talk therapy,” skills building, or hypnosis, we will work together to help you lead a more satisfying, fulfilling life.
